Dance Styles for London Nightclub Chic

If you haven't been clubbing in a while … or perhaps haven't yet been initiated into the joy of anonymous sweaty bodies, belly-shaking bass and tinglingly delicious drinks … then the thing that probably makes you most nervous about going to a night club in London is the dancing. It comes naturally to some, but is a constant battle for others. Here we look at several dance styles that you can take formal lessons in to bring a whole new personality to your dancing in London nightclubs.
Breakdancing
Usually aimed at guys (heels, makeup and headspins don’t mix). Even if you don’t actually breakdance in a London nightclub, learning the style can impart some unique flavour on your contemporary dance moves. It began in the 70s and still doesn't seem to have peaked in popularity. You'll mostly use the toprock moves you learn in breakdancing classes in your fave night club in London, leaving the footwork, freezes and power moves for places where there's nobody to injure. But dang they look good!
Ribbon dancing
True Chinese ribbon dancing takes a lot of space, but the style is adaptable and very seductive in a nightclub atmosphere. Besides, having that prop handy is just the thing to allow some shyer girls to let loose. You'll focus mostly on twirls in ribbon dancing in London nightclubs, because tosses will quickly get your stick lost and trampled on! Incorporate the ribbon into the dances of people around you … as long as they know you’re doing it!
Swing dancing
This will be more for theme or retro nights, but since most people wouldn't have a clue about the Lindy Hop, the Nightclub Two Step, the East Coast Swing or the jitterbug, you'll wipe the floor with them if you do! Once you have some training you can start checking out different dance moves online to incorporate into your set.
Rave dancing
This will be great for regular Saturday nights at your ordinary nightclub in London. Learn steps like the Melbourne shuffle, crossing moonwalking and the running man from hip hop dancing. Practice the forms of liquid dancing, and use glow sticks and glow strings as props to help you loosen up into it!

Cool Club Wear for Hot Night Clubs in London

Especially in a city like London (freezing and very conservative), the nightclubs of the city are on the only places that most of us can let loose with our dress sense … and show off all those hard, boring hours at the gym! If you're hanging to flash some flesh, we check out the sorts of outfits that you can get away with wearing to your fave night club in London. Just put a coat on for the taxi home!
Bikini sets
Any bikini that looks extremely cool, but you couldn’t go swimming in, belongs in a nightclub. The fluffier, more decorated and themed your bikini is for an evening at your favorite London nightlife spot, the better. Leopard print is not too tacky for the dance floor, and even bunny ears can still be fun! Then again, why not just wear your swimmers? They're sweat absorbent, dry easily and will keep you cool. A most practical choice!
Open front tops and dresses
When you buy those tops that have two hanging panels of fabric draped from either one of your breasts, looking like they could swing open like a curtain in strong breeze at any second, you are actually buying two items of clothing. The top, and the Hollywood tape to hold it in place. I do believe even London nightclubs have dress decency rules that might get you put in a much colder places if the girls let themselves free…
Catsuits and bodysuits
They don’t actually have to have the cat theme of Michelle Pfeiffer's Batman getup, but catsuits in their various incarnations are big in the London nightclub fashion scene right now. Leotards with cutaways in various places look hot, hot, hot … they let you show off body glitter and they can be worn under a skirt or jeans as well as by themselves.
Long evening dresses
In a room full of exposed bits of skin, straps, bellybuttons and Hollywood tape, sometimes it is what people can't see that excites them the most. You can actually be the stand-out, sexiest girl in the night club in London by choosing a long gown instead of a Playboy bunny outfit. Latex and cutaways here look smoking, and even the matching trenchcoat and thong look isn't too creepy!

Party in London

After a stressful week at work, my friends and I love getting together on Saturday night and going clubbing. One of our all time favorite nightclubs in London to party at is the Prohibition Bar & Club. The club is one of the largest in the London area so we know that they have enough seating for me and my mates.

The interior of the Prohibition Bar & Club is as cool and funky as the music they play. There is nothing like hitting the large dance floor with my girls and dancing to the fantastic mix of music pumping through the room. It is hard to sit still once the music starts.

The first time I was ever at the Prohibition Bar & Club was for a New Year's party. The bartenders were great and it was nice to go into a club that had a dress code. As a single gal, I think it is great to see men dressed in trendy clothes and not in baggy jeans. That is a total turn on to me and my gal pals. That has made this club one of our favorites.

My friends and I have been clubbing all over London for the past few years and have found that the West end of London seems to be one hottest places to go. The nightlife here is always hopping. The drink specials are always great and it is close to home for us. We also like the fact that it is easier to catch a minicab home from the club, because they have a contract with a taxi company. This is a big plus when throwing back a few drinks with your mates!

We now can’t wait until Saturday night rolls around. My gal pals and I know that when we go clubbing in London that Prohibition is going to be at the top of our lists to party in. Hot guys, hot music and the hottest drink prices anywhere in the West end of London club scene.

Prohibition Bar & Club is now becoming a favorite club to party at with all of my mates. This club is one of our top picks for London nightlife. My friends and I have now decided on going to the Prohibition Bar & Club for one of the hottest New Year's Eve parties in London. We can’t wait to usher in 2010 here!

Avoid a Ho-Hum Party

Have you ever been sitting around on a Saturday night completely bored? Most of us have, at one time or another, been faced with a Saturday night when we had absolutely nothing to do. No date, no party, no movies, no nothing. The good news is that you can prevent those boring Saturday nights by utilizing one simple resource.
Much of what makes a party worth going to is how well it suits your individual personality. If you're into dancing, you will want to visit a party where dancing is a priority. If you're into swag, you need a party where swag will be included. Believe it or not, it is possible to find the most promising parties and the best and nightlife before enduring a trial and error process. One of the worse things you can do is go out for a night on the town and visit one dud event after another until you finally find a party that’s worth staying at. Unfortunately, however, this is how far too many people navigate their big nights out.
Let’s face it, everyone loves a good party. But most of the time, it's hard to tell which parties will be good and which will be total duds. If you're looking for something to spice up your nightlife, you should consider looking into a high-quality party database. Basically, a party database will provide you with information on which parties will be happening and which parties will be a waste of time.

The good news is that there are simple ways to tell which parties will suit your style and which ones won’t…the best resource for such and endeavor is known as the
party database. Basically, the party database is an online compilation of all the most happening and promising events taking place in your area at any given time. Using a party database means no more hopping from lame party to lame party, no more spending the evening staring at a trucker across the room at the Waffle House, no more feeling awkward because you and your best friend are the only two people on the dance floor! Instead, you’ll be up on the hottest places to go, what time to arrive, and even what you should wear.
Time is far too precious to waste. So, instead of spending your time roaming from one lame party to another, simply hoping that you would run into an event or person worth spending time with, consider looking online for a high quality party index. Yes, this is a unique concept…and one that not many people would think of. So, we’ve dedicated our time to getting the word out. You never have to be bored again, and you never have to waste time getting all dressed up for a party that will prove to be totally lame. Get out there and have some fun!
