Resolve to have a good time this New Year's

My wife and I, along with a group of our friends, rang in New Year’s 2009 in right. We decided to celebrate in style and started planning in April. We ended up being glad that we did. We had a wonderful time. There were eight of us in total, and each couple investigated where we might go. After searching online one late Sunday morning, our friends found this Web site for London Groove and it was filled with information about fun clubs and exciting night spots. We ended up getting on the guest list to attend the New Year’s Eve celebration at Prohibition. It was an absolutely fantastic time. We listened to the sounds of Smooth RnB, Funky House, ‘90s Soul, Club Classics and others and jammed to some great mixes. The event was sold out in advance and the place was hopping with people. The atmosphere was electric, the drinks were perfect and the food was delicious. Because we needed to make accommodations for four couples, we were able to secure a private area. We all got a little wild and crazy, so it was a relief to have our own space. The ladies in our group got scandalous on the dance floor, while we gents drank a few pints, had a few laughs and enjoyed the view.

To our delight, the food that we ordered early in the evening was piping hot and fresh. Our order arrived quickly, even though the place was packed and there seemed to be many food orders during that time. I enjoyed a classic burger with cheese and bacon, which I highly recommend. My wife had a wonderful Caesar salad, which was divine. I had a few bites and have ordered that salad a few times since the occasion when we have attended Soul Saturdays. I was impressed that of the numerous drink orders we made, the drinks flowed freely and each order of cocktails was 100 percent accurate. The wait staff was prompt and courteous, and we never had an empty glass during the entire time we were at the club. All of the club-goers appeared to be having a lovely time. None of the people in our group witnessed any squabbling or brawling; the crowd seemed in good spirits throughout the night and the general mood appeared upbeat and positive. When you are looking for a great time on the London scene, you will find all the information you need to make it a memorable occasion through London Groove.
